Gary Strahan

Gary E. Strahan has over 30 years of experience in Infrared Technology and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). He is a founder and CEO of Infrared Cameras Inc. and Infrared Training Institute located in Beaumont, TX with offices in Michigan, Minnesota, and Florida. He is extremely knowledgeable in NDT methods and technologies, having experience with all aspects of infrared thermography, from designing and manufacturing of infrared cameras to their many applications. Prior to starting his business, Gary was employed by Mobil Oil Corporation and wrote their Non-Destructive Testing Procedures, He was also a District Manager for FLIR Systems.

On August 4, 2014, Gary was interviewed live on CNN to discuss ICI's thermal imaging systems and their use in airports to detect passengers who displayed fevered readings to potentially deter the spread of infectious diseases. He is a private pilot and enjoys flying, swimming, fishing, and scuba diving. Gary has been diving in the Atlantic, Pacific, Caribbean, South Pacific, North Sea, Red Sea and other oceans around the world. He has walked on the Great Wall of China, the Ancient Ruins of Petra, Rome, Greece and climbed the Great Pyramid in Egypt.
