TSUS's Oldest Honors Program

Honors Cardinals: Making LU Proud Since 1963

The Reaud Honors College holds the distinction of being the oldest Honors Program in the Texas State University System (TSUS). Twenty students registered for Fall 1963, the first-ever semester of the Honors Program.

Always rigorous and challenging, the Honors College experience affords academically talented and highly motivated students the opportunity to expand their intellectual abilities, delve into the realm of original thought, and connect with other students who share their passion for academic excellence and exploration.

The honors community is proud to recognize our Reaud Honors students who have contributed to TSUS as leaders and scholars.
