LU Drums and Front
The "LU Drums and Front" is a new age description that recognizes both halves of the LU marching band percussion section in the title of the group. LU is proud to utilize a front ensemble as well as a full sized field drumline. The group is comprised of music majors and non-music majors alike.
Marching Band Rehearsal Schedule, Fall semester:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 1:30pm – 3:25pm
- Fridays: 1:50pm – 3:10pm
- Tuesdays from 6:00pm – 8:00pm (required sectional)

July 20: 9:00am – 4:30pm
Location: Wiley Rehearsal Hall, Simmons Music Building on LU Campus
LU Drumline Experience Clinics are designed to help those seeking to audition for the LU Drumline (Battery + Front Ensemble).
Clinic participants will gain exposure to the overall approach, vocabulary, repertoire, and technique of the Battery and Front Ensemble, which will greatly strengthen their chances of a successful audition.
