Christian Sykes was born in Houston and raised in Hamshire. He graduated from Hamshire-Fannett high school in 1996 and enrolled in Lamar. Sykes was still a student when he worked his first show with the I.A.T.S.E, Tool at the Montagne Center in 2002. Sykes worked toward full membership as a Journeyman with Local 183 in 2009. He has since worked with craftspeople from around the world with locals 51 and 205.
