Teaching Interests:

  • Online Teaching, Web-based learning
  • Online lab development
  • Integrating Lab experiences into Theory courses via hardware in homework
  • Study Abroad opportunities

Accomplishments:

  • Lead the department in creating/offering first online courses in our department. Created a total of 12 online courses and 2 online labs (Circuits Lab and Electronics Lab). The online labs were important as they were the main obstacle in offering of our Digital eLearning Content Delivery program.
  • Integrated lab experiences into theory courses via Hardware-in-Homework (HiH) concept.
  • Secured an Educational Grant from “Academic Partnerships” for integrating HiH concept into Electronics II course.
  • Secured NASA/TSGC Higher Education Program grant and developed a space related course titled "Space Radiation Effects & Mitigation" in 2011.
  • Developed VLSI CAD and Signal Integrity Laboratory to support research and teaching. I am currently the manager for the VLSI CAD and Signal Integrity Lab.
  • Supervised two Senior Undergrad Students for IEEE Paper Competition that one won 1st place awards in 2016 IEEE Region V East area competition and 2017 IEEE Beaumont section.
