The Phillip M. Drayer Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers B.S. programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering with all ECE required courses having both synchronous online and on-campus options and all ECE electives courses synchronous online.
Both Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering require the students to complete 120 credit hours.

Lamar University supports transfers from community colleges and provides the only 2+2 online paths for Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering degree in Texas. The 2+2 is a degree path allows students from community colleges and other 2-year institutions to complete two additional years at a 4-year college and earn their baccalaureate degree.
