The department engages in a broad-based research program. Current faculty research interests include Computer-aided geometric design, Intrusion Detection and Computer Security, Artificial Intelligence, Wireless and Sensor Networks, Theoretical Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Digital Communications for the Deaf and Computer Architecture.
