Once you have been accepted into the Cooperative Education and Internship program you will be allowed to view all co-op/intern jobs through our Hire a Cardinal job posting system. 

• You may access Hire A Cardinal by visiting www.hireacardinal.org.  Your username is your Lamar student L-number without the 'L' and your password is your birthdate.
• Once you are logged into the Hire A Cardinal website, you must update your profile and upload an updated resume.
• For each position you are interested in, follow the application instructions.
  • Some companies may ask you to apply directly through the Hire A Cardinal site by clicking on the ‘Submit Resume/Request Interview’ button at the top of the posting.  Others may instruct you to apply through the company website.

Important! You must update your profile at the end of each semester, including your resume.

If you fail to update your profile at any time, you may not be able to apply for postings because the system may not recognize you as an eligible applicant. Please completely fill out all fields in your profile.
