ChemE Summer Camp

Rising high school students are invited to campus for a week-long day camp focused on Chemical Engineering in a team-based environment. The camp will introduce students to some of the various roles available to chemical engineers and common equipment used within petrochemical and pharmaceutical/food manufacturing industries. Hands-on activities will be intertwined with industry plant tours to keep the camp engaging and interesting. This camp is limited to high school students who have successfully completed chemistry and algebra II. Space is limited.

Due to laboratory and industry tours, long pants and closed-toe shoes must be worn, at all times. Additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be issued as needed. A driver’s license or school picture ID will be required for industry tours. Space is limited.
