Dr. Gleb Tcheslavski was born September 26, 1972 in Noginsk, Moscow Region, Russia.

Dr. Tcheslavski received his engineer-developer degree in Electronic Engineering from Bauman Moscow State Technical University and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. At VT, he was a member of the Digital Signal Processing Research Lab. 

After graduation, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at University of Houston involved in Biomedical Image Acquisition and Processing. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Phillip M. Drayer Department of Electrical engineering at Lamar University.
