Speech Language Pathology Clinic

It’s a complicated process that most people take for granted. However, when a speech or language disorder develops, it may interfere with learning, job success, independence, relationships, academic achievement, and general well being. A communication disorder can be developmental or acquired.

Developmental disorders occur when a child has not acquired normal speech and language milestones.

Acquired disorders may be a result of neurological impairment such as stroke or brain injury. Speech-language Pathologists evaluate and treat, speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly.
