Venkatesh Uddameri, Ph.D.

Research Interests

Sustainable water resources management, Development of decision support systems, Applications of sensors in civil engineering, Big Data and AI/ML applications in civil engineering.

My research over the last 20+ years has been funded by a variety of organizations including the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), U.S. Department of Defense (USDoD), U.S. Department of Energy (USDOE), United States Geological Survey (USGS) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

In addition, I have also obtained funding from several state and local entities including the Texas Water Development Board, Texas State Soil Water Conservation Board and several Groundwater Conservation Districts in Texas.
