Do I need to register? 

Yes, you need to register online at lamar.edu/asd at least one day prior to Admitted Student Day. Register early to ensure your spot is reserved.  

How do I login to access registration? 

Registration requires login using your LEA username and password. If you need assistance logging in, please visit our IT Support page for instructions for resetting your password. 

Who can attend Admitted Student Day? 

Admitted Student Day is designed for first time in college students that plan to take their classes on campus, starting in Summer or Fall. Admitted students matching these criteria and up to 2 family members and/or guests are encouraged to attend. 

What are the hours of Admitted Student Day? 

Admitted Student Day will have three designated check-in windows in an effort to control large crowds. During registration, you will pick one of the available event arrival times. All event programming will be available until 2 pm. Check-in will end at 12 pm to give all guests time to attend available sessions.  

How long should I plan to be at Admitted Student Day? 

Most students can complete all desired programming within 3 hours or less. Programming is available at various times from 9 am to 12 pm. You will receive an event agenda 3 days prior to the event. Using the agenda, schedule the day to best fit you and your needs. The day is yours to create, and depending on your needs, will vary from person to person.  

What does it cost to attend? 

Admitted Student Day is free of charge! 

What happens if it rains? 

Admitted Student Day will not be canceled if it rains. Please be sure to check the weather before you visit so that you can be prepared. We will notify all registrants of any changed plans prior to the event. Most of the Admitted Student Day programming takes place inside.  

Can I turn in documents while on campus? 

Absolutely! This will be your chance to discuss and submit documentation needed for enrollment.  

Are campus tours available and do I need to register for a tour? 

Guided campus and/or residence hall tours will be available. Registration for campus tours will not be required. 

Do I need to check-in at any particular location? 

Yes, please check-in during the time window chosen when registering for the event in the Setzer Student Center at 4405 Jimmy Simmons Blvd, Beaumont, Texas 77705. Check-in will end at 12 pm to give all guests time to attend available sessions.
