Degree Description

The Lamar University Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition - Dietetics Track will prepare and qualify you to apply for and complete an ACEND-accredited internship program (IP) in nutrition and dietetics. You'll take courses in general nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, community nutrition, nutrition through the life cycle, nutritional biochemistry, food science and food service management.

The Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition - Dietetics Track at Lamar University is accredited through ACEND, the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. After successfully completing the IP and passing the registration exam, you will become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
