The Mary and John Gray Library celebrated the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts.

The exhibit featured memorabilia, including a vest with dozens of colorful patches, a songbook, a handbook, and souvenirs of Theresa Storey Hefner-Babb who was a Girl Scout for over ten years and who learned many lessons from Scouts which benefit her in her daily life. The exhibit highlighted the fact that although Girl Scouts are best known for selling cookies, the organization has a heritage of offering leadership opportunities to the women of tomorrow and encouraging community awareness.
