Capstone design is a required course for engineering students to meet graduation requirement from an ABET accredited engineering program.  I have been teaching two-semester sequence Capstone Design course since 2003 and have guided over 60 Capstone design teams (many with co-advisor Dr. Jenny Zhou). Many teams competed in national and international design competitions such as Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Mini-Baja, Shell EcoMarathon America, ASME Human Powered Vehicle competition (HPVC), Texas Space Grant Consortium (TSGC) Design Challenge, and Trinity College Fire-Fighting Robot. Some notable achievements of recent ME Senior Capstone Design teams are listed below.
