Homeschool Transcript Requirements

Homeschool students looking to apply and enroll at Lamar University will be admitted based on Freshman Admission Standards. Given the unique nature of homeschool students, we ask that all applicants take the following steps to turn in their transcripts

Sending Transcripts Electronically

Electronic transcripts may be sent to with the following information:

  • In the subject line, use: 'Homeschool Transcript for (student's full name)' 
  • The transcript must be a secure PDF with a password to protect data integrity. Follow these steps to password protect your transcripts
  • Transcript must contain the applicant's full name and date of birth
    • Note: Transcript does not need to be notarized

Mailing Transcripts

Students have the option to mail their official transcripts in as well.

  • Transcripts must be mailed to:
    Lamar University Admissions
    P.O. Box 10009
    Beaumont, TX 77710
  • Transcripts must include the students full name and date of birth
