Preview Day

We have an opportunity for you to attend college free while attending high school at Lamar University!

This is an exclusive invitation to attend our Preview Day to learn all about the Texas Academy and meet some of our junior and senior academy students.

College affordability plays a big role in whether or not students seek higher education. Research reveals that students who worry about costs may select themselves out of the college process (U.S. Department of Education, January 2022).

The academy empowers Texas’s best and brightest students to dream big by offering free college tuition for up to 60 credit hours at Lamar University.

We want you to be our next academy scholar!
