Our Division of Student Engagement is here to facilitate your transition into Lamar University, support your growth, and prepare you for personal and professional life after college. You will find that our committed staff place students at the center of everything we promise, plan, promote, and provide.

We pledge that we will encourage you to embrace opportunities that enrich your academic experience, offer support when you make difficult decisions, and challenge you to develop healthy choices regarding behavior and wellness. We offer you experiences that foster leadership, civic responsibility, and cultural engagement. We celebrate your individuality and support ways to collaborate with others to positively influence your community and your world.

We know that college is a life-changing experience. We celebrate that you want an education from Lamar University. We are committed to making sure that you get the most out of your LU experience.
