Science and Technology

Lamar University's Science and Technology building supports and promotes collaborative university research projects. The 83,000 square foot space brings to the educational programs the ability to teach theory and concepts to students across the campus. Lamar University is making large strides towards modernizing the university's STEM programs.

The Makerspace provides students, with their faculty mentor a place to fabricate ideas they develop into product prototypes. The Science and Technology facility is designed to foster collaboration, shared research, and lab space which provide opportunities to work together on cutting edge projects.
