Simio Approves In-Kind Grant to CMMS

Simio LLC has approved an in-kind grant valued at $216,000 to Lamar University's Center for Midstream Management and Science (CMMS). This grant includes 90 copies of Simio® Academic Edition software that will be used in research and education in digital manufacturing. Simio software packages deliver leading edge solutions for the design, emulation, and scheduling of complex systems. This grant will support CMMS's digital initiative and further enhance the university's scientific and engineering computation programs. Simio's software includes many innovations, making it a particularly effective tool in the training of people considering careers in the midstream industry and other heavy industries.
