Lamar University College of Engineering tops lists for best value degree programs for 2019-20

The College of Engineering ranked twice on a list of top degree programs by LU's online Industrial Engineering program was ranked as one of the top online engineering degrees overall, and the Electrical Engineering program was named one of the best of its kind. The Masters in Engineering Management Degree also nabbed a spot on the list, winning mention for best specialization options.

The Center for Midstream Management and Science hosted a Kickoff Symposium on November 21.

Dr. James Henry, associate professor of Chemical Engineering, awarded grant funding for a flow cytometer on the LU campus.

Dr. Qin Qian, associate professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, secures funding for two grants to study flood patterns in Southeast Texas.

Graduate Program

The College of Engineering welcomes all graduate student applicants. Qualified graduate students are offered out-of-state tuition waivers plus $1000/year general graduate scholarships. Highly qualified students are offered assistantships with tuition waivers. Please see the individual program pages for more information.
