The Center for Educational Innovation and Digital Learning, located in Beaumont, Texas, resides under the Office of the President of Lamar University. The Center is designed to advance the application and impact of digital learning and to infuse digital education in both the K-12 and post-secondary environment. The Center works closely with a community of scholars, educational administrators, entrepreneurs, government officials, and corporations dedicated to sharing advancements in the field, promoting dialogue and establishing virtual communities to advance the digital learning field and its implementation.

SUMMER STEAM CAMPS FOR STUDENTS

Lamar University is offering Texas school districts a unique summer learning experience for Elementary, Middle and High School teachers and students in STEAM and Digital Robotics.

This program provides engaging professional learning for teachers, summer camps for students, digital robotics licenses for schools, and an opportunity to bring engaging and dynamic learning to classes, clubs, and afterschool programs.

Schools who host these collaborative university-district provided camps are provided with year-long instructional support and coaching. Optional participation in virtual robotics competitions are available.  Learn more.
