Praphul Joshi, Ph.D., MPH, BDS
Experience


Upon graduating from his doctoral program (2004), Dr. Joshi worked as Research and Planning Administrator at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. At this position, Dr. Joshi led the evaluation efforts of CDC funded Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Program.  In the Fall of 2005, Dr. Joshi started his faculty assignment as an assistant professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In 2011, he joined the University of New England as a faculty in the public health program. He worked in this program until Fall of 2014, where Dr. Joshi joined Lamar University in his current role.
