Do I need to register?

Yes, you need to register online at lamar.edu/cardinalview at least one day prior to Cardinal View.  Register early to ensure your spot is reserved. 

Who can attend Cardinal View?

Cardinal View is designed for prospective students and their guests. High school juniors, seniors, transfer students, family members and guests are encouraged to attend.

What are the hours of Cardinal View?

Cardinal View will begin with Check-In at 9:00 a.m., and sessions will end at approximately 12:30 p.m.

What does it cost to attend?

Cardinal View is free of charge!

What happens if it rains?

Cardinal View will not be canceled if it rains. Please be sure to check the weather before you visit so that you can be prepared. We will notify all registrants of any changed plans prior to the event.

Can I meet with an Admissions Counselor while on campus?

Absolutely! This will be your chance to have your questions answered and be able to discuss documentation needed for admission. 

Are campus tours available and do I need to register for a tour?

Guided campus tours will be available. Registration for campus tours will not be required.

Do I need to check-in at any particular location?

Yes, check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Sheila Umphrey Recreational Sports Center at 4405 Jimmy Simmons Blvd.
