The spring 2022 Commencement Ceremonies will be located at the
Montagne (see campus map).
All students need to arrive no later than 1 hour before start time of ceremony

Students will need to park on the northwest of the Montagne Center in lot A5. (map)
The ceremony will start promptly. If you arrive late, please still come to the Montagne Center for check-in.
Your official Lamar University regalia may be purchased at the LU Bookstore. Contact the bookstore at 409-880-8342 or through their website: LU Bookstore - Regalia
The deadline to order your regalia through the website is April 10, 2022.

In order to receive your diploma at commencement:
Diplomas will be disbursed after the conclusion of the commencement ceremony in the Montagne Center (check-in location). If you choose to leave early your diploma will be mailed to you the week following commencement. We cannot hand out diplomas until the Commencement Ceremony has ended.
Transcripts being sent from other institutions to fulfill transfer hours, must be received within 4 weeks after the Commencement Ceremony.
Your transcript will be available Tuesday, May 17th. Your degree will not post to your permanent record until end day Monday, May 16th*.
*Degrees for student’s that have a last class date of May 15th will post until May 30th.
