Course syllabi (2018-present) are located at https://www.lamar.edu/syllabi
 
When searching for a syllabus make sure to select the correct time frame.
  • Current (after the start date);
  • Past (semester is over) and
  • Future (semester has not started) 
  • Spring 2023 (15 and First 8 weeks) course syllabi will switch from Future to Current on January 17, 2023

How to search for syllabi in Concourse

Search for current semester syllabi

  1. Go to https://www.lamar.edu/syllabi
  2. Select Advanced 
  3. Select the Course Subject
  4. Enter Course Number (if known)
  5. Select Session and Year
  6. Limit to Time Frame to Current Courses
  7. Limit Templates search to non-template
  8. Select the course from the Results by clicking on the blue Course Title

Search for Graduate Course syllabi only

  1. Go to https://www.lamar.edu/syllabi
  2. Select Advanced
  3. Select the Course Subject
  4. Enter Course Number (if known) or enter "53" for Masters or "63" for Doctoral
  5. Limit results further by selecting a School or Department or Instructor
  6. Limit Time Frame to Past, Past and Current, or Current.
  7. Limit Templates search to non-template
  8. Select the course from the Populated Search Results by clicking on the blue course name.

Search for previous semester syllabi

  1. Go to https://www.lamar.edu/syllabi
  2. Select Advanced
  3. Select the Course Subject
  4. Enter Course Number (if known)
  5. Limit Time Frame to Past courses
  6. Limit Templates search to non-template
  7. Select the course from the populated Search Results by clicking on the blue course name

How to access faculty vita by keyword

  1. Go to https://www.lamar.edu/syllabi
  2. Select the Advanced Search
  3. in the Keyword box enter the Faculty Member's Last Name
  4. Select the Course Subject
  5. Enter Course Number (if known)
  6. Limit Time Frame to Past and Current courses or Current courses 
  7. Limit Templates to Non-Template
  8. Select the course from the populated Search Results
  9. Click on the blue Course Name to view the syllabus
  10. On the syllabus view page click on CV located under the Concourse logo
