Fall & Recovery is the biannual faculty dance concert that presents the latest creative research projects from our dance faculty, guest artists and guest performers. This year the audience can expect an aerial and contemporary modern work by associate professor Travis Prokop, a jazz and tap work by Lou Arrington and a modern work by Amy Elizabeth Smith, assistant professor of dance.

“We are thrilled to present ‘A Litany of Survival’ by Harrison Guy of Urban Souls Dance Company based in Houston. Mr. Guy spent two days in residency offering classes and building this work on the LUTD dance students.,” Smith said. “We will also be sharing the stage with the Collin College Dance Ensemble under the direction of Tiffanee Arnold. The Collin College Dance Ensemble will be presenting three works throughout the concert.”

Other performances from “Fall & Recovery” include: "Cockroach," the newest work by Prokop, and "Head Down Knees Apart," choreographed by Smith.
