Spring Break Fun at Gladys City

Are you home on Spring Break and don’t know what to do with your kids? Bring them to the Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum Wed., March 18, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will be 60-second challenges throughout the museum. Test your skills. Have a laugh. Most of all, have fun!!

"It is great to see families out for Spring Break enjoying and interacting with the museum,” said Troy Gray, Spindletop spring break 2director of Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum.  “Every member of the family can have fun with the challenges.”

Visitors can tour the museum as they go to the 10 different challenge spots. All the challenges relate to one of museum's buildings or the oil industry. How many balloons can you shave in 60 seconds? How many cow patties can you toss into a ring? Can you put the alphabet in order using print block letters?

The museum will also blow the gusher at noon. Regular admission applies.
