LastPass Premium
To take advantage of free, premium (including family) perks of LastPass due to your affiliation with Lamar University, follow the steps below:
1. Visit https://www.lastpass.com and sign up for a free account with your personal email address.2. Go to https://www.lastpass.com/partnerpremium/lu Enter your Lamar email address followed by your personal email address and click "Submit", as shown below:
3. You will be notified that a link has been sent to your Lamar Email address.
4. Check your Lamar Email account for an email from LastPass and open it.
5. Click on "Create my account".
6. Note that your personal email address (not Lamar) will appear automatically in the Email Box.
7. Enter a strong password conforming to the Password Minimum Requirements. (Do Not use your LEA Password).
Re-enter the password to confirm, create a Reminder and Click on "Create My Account" to continue.
8. Click on "Confirm" to accept and redeem LastPass Premium.
9. The LastPass Browser extension will appear on the top right of Browser window, (Three horizontal dots), and turn Red when your set up is complete.
Step 10. Click on the LastPass Browser extension to open your vault and get started.
10. Congratulations you have successfully installed LastPass.
