Logo Design Competition GUIDELINES

Competition Eligibility: Open to all LU students

Scope of the Competition:
Participants are invited to submit original logo designs that capture the essence of the International Festival. The logo should be versatile, easily recognizable, and suitable for both digital and print applications. Designs should reflect the global nature of the festival and celebrate the festival’s mission of bringing people together from around the world.

Submission Guidelines:

• Submissions must be original work created by the student.

• File formats accepted include PNG, JPG, or PDF.

• Logos should be scalable and maintain clarity in various sizes.

• Only one design per entry is permitted for each participant.

• Submission Deadline: October 30, 2025

• Selection Deadline: October 31, 2025

• Winner Announcement: November 1, 2025
  
  

Judging Criteria:
 Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of festival organizers using the following rubric:

1. Creativity & Originality: Originality of the design and unique visual approach

2. Relevance & Global Spirit: Alignment with the festival’s purpose and audience; Ability to reflect international connections and cultural celebration

3. Visual Impact & Aesthetics: Strong visual appeal; eye-catching, balanced composition; colors and typography work harmoniously.

4. Versatility & Scalability: Works effectively across multiple mediums (print, digital, merchandise); scalable to different sizes without losing clarity.

Awards and Recognition:
The winning designer will be honored at the 2026 International Festival, with their design showcased across all official festival materials. In addition, the winner will receive a $100 gift card and will have the opportunity to invite two guests of honor to the event.

Submission Instructions:
All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM on October 30, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
