Welcome to the Office of International Student Programs and Services

The OISPS team is happy to help students and scholars maintain their visa status while studying at Lamar University. Our objective is to assist international students and scholars with cultural adjustment and other issues they may face as new students to Lamar University and living in the United States. We also encourage you to take advantage of the many social, cultural, and educational programs and events to meet other international and domestic students.

Countries Represented

Lamar University provides services for international students coming from more than 61 countries within the undergraduate and graduate programs. We invite you to take a look at the various countries our students come from!

OISPS serves as the primary resource for non-immigrant students and scholars at Lamar University, Lamar Institute of Technology, Lamar State College-Orange, and Lamar State College-Port Arthur.
