Lamar University’s Red Day celebrates and showcases the generosity of the LU Community. The goal of this special campaign is simple: to all come together and give back to make a powerful difference as we roll out the RED carpet for 100 years!
That's why we need YOU! Please consider signing on as a 2023 #LURedDay Champion to help spread the word about this very special campaign. The more Red Day Champions that sign up, the more Cardinals we can encourage to support our students on September 14-15, 2023.

WHAT IS A RED DAY CHAMPION?
Red Day Champions have a simple, yet very important mission – spread the word about #LURedDay through various methods of communication (i.e. social media, email, text message) before and during Red Day, make a gift in support of the areas of Lamar University they love most, and encourage their former classmates, family, and friends to join them in giving back. You will have access to our Champion Toolkit, which includes, content, images, graphics and more to utilize in your posts.

Wondering what to write? We've got you covered! The Red Day Champion Toolkit provides easily customizable, click and paste social media posts, emails, text messages, and graphics for you to use. Your role as a Red Day Champion helps build the #LURedDay movement through actively sharing, recruiting new Champions, and encouraging others to participate in and donate on #LURedDay.
