Minor in Leadership and Communication

All majors across Lamar University can choose a leadership and communication minor to enhance their resume. Students with a leadership and communication minor gain a more comprehensive skillset in leadership and have access to more options when choosing a career path.   

Eligibility

You need to have 30 completed hours at Lamar University and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0. 

Completion Requirements

Total of 15 Credit Hours for Leadership and Communication Minor. The Leadership and Communication minor is intended for the student to explore outside of their major, thus students must complete a minimum of 9 credits (three courses) exclusive to the Leadership and Communication minor that will not count toward the student’s major or other minors.

To be considered for the Minor in Leadership and Communication, an application must be submitted. Applications are received and reviewed throughout the year.
