Business Partners

Business partner participants engage in a dynamic, two-part development journey. The experience begins with a 1-credit-hour immersive session where learners actively explore core concepts through guided practice and real-world scenarios. This is complemented by a 2-credit-hour self-paced LeaderU pathway and an Accelerator Coaching Experience that allows individuals to deepen their understanding at their own pace. The journey is enriched by a round table discussion event or a structured support model that integrates Lamar Cardinal athletics as a living leadership laboratory that bridges learning to sustained performance.

Flexible Delivery Designed for Your Workforce

Immersive 1 Credit Hour Courses

Lamar's Leadership Studies program is built around the realities of your workforce, not a traditional classroom calendar. A flexible foundation of 2 to 4-day Immersive Leadership Education experiences held in Lamar's premier Galloway facility — purpose-built for executive cohort learning. These intensive sessions bring your leaders together in a focused, high-energy environment designed to accelerate relationship-building, deepen learning, and create the kind of shared leadership language that drives cultural change back on the job.

Self-Paced 2 credit hour courses

Self-paced through FranklinCovey's LeaderU Challenge platform a leadership experience that goes far beyond generic leadership content. In addition, a weekly Leadership Coaching Snapshot will be delivered to the participant as a leadership and Development Accelerator that a busy leader can read and act on in 5-8 minutes. This will include:

  • This Week’s Leadership Mindset Shift
  • Personal AI Fluency & Experiment Prompt
  • Leadership Impact Metrics
  • Coaching Spotlight
  • Risks Guardrails & Ethical Reflection
  • Weekly Coaching Action Items

Leadership Labs in the Heart of Cardinals Athletics

One of the most distinctive features of the Lamar partnership is the integration of Cardinals athletics as a living leadership laboratory. Each cohort participates in athletics events as structured leadership development experiences — not just entertainment.

Pre-game leadership modules and debriefs connect the action on the field to real leadership themes facilitated by Lamar faculty or your own executives, including:

  •  "High-Performance Teams" — how championship teams build trust and execute under pressure
  • "Crisis Leadership Under Pressure" — decision-making when the stakes are highest
  • "Building a Winning Culture" — what coaches, athletes, and executives share in common
