The center is fundamentally linked with industry. Our research initiatives have made significant contributions based on demonstrated need and supported by external partnerships and financial support. With our state-of-the-art facilities, highly credentialed faculty and industry collaborations, our center is becoming a hub for local and international knowledge exchange for practical port, maritime and industry management solutions.

Practical and Efficient Programs

We offer a fully accredited Master of Science degree as well as three graduate certificates. With implementation for Spring 2024, our Masters program has been updated from a 36-credit-hour to a 30-credit-hour program. Performanced based academic scholarships make this 10 course, online, self-paced program cost effective and convenient.

Interdisciplinary Educational Approach

The center's academic curriculum includes an interdisciplinary Master of Science degree and certificates specializing in port management, global logistics, and operations. Courses are taught by both College of Engineering and College of Business professors as well as highly credentialed and seasoned maritime industry experts.

Students will explore practical leadership, team management and risk reduction strategies in the context of real world scenarios.

This program is ideal for both entry-level and mid-career students seeking to tackle unique port, maritime and industry challenges.
