A joint project of the Turkish Ministry of Education and European Union titled "Promoting Integration of Syrian Children into Turkish Education System-PICTES", coordinating around 200 teachers in 81 schools serving over 14,000 asylum-seeking Syrian students and their families. 

  • Successfully coordinated all aspects of the project within the Izmir province
  • Managed the assignment and payrolls of around 200 teachers 
  • Assisted refugee children and their families in school registration and other related official business
  • Organized distribution of clothing and stationary items to over 4,000 Syrian students
  • Reported to and attended meetings with the Ministry of Education
