  • Special Guest Speaker Jim Boneau, 12:45 pm in Landes Auditorium

    • The College of Business will host special guest speaker, alumnus, Jim Boneau on November 8th from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm in the Landes Auditorium in Galloway Business Building. Jim believes that Every graduate starting out on a career track encounters similar challenges to that of a new CEO when they are stepping into the C-suite for the first time: the pressure to succeed, the overwhelm of starting something new, and a marketplace where change happens at every blink of the eye. Join us in a discussion and interactive presentation on these and other topics.
    • Jim Boneau is a 1988 graduate of Lamar University with a BBA in General Business with a concentration in Information Systems Management. His love for music also lead him to participate in the marching band and symphony during his time as a student. After graduating, he served for a variety of roles for companies and working in the MIS sector. He found his passion conducting training courses and realized his potential for helping with the development and growth of others.

It was this interest that led Jim to expand his facilitation capabilities and embrace his love of music and rhythm by learning the art of drum circle facilitation. Today, Jim splits his time between running a successful leadership development firm working with Fortune 500 leaders and traveling the world teaching others how to build community and connections through rhythm. Jim’s book, The Rumble Zone: Leadership Strategies in the Rough & Tumble of Change, reached best sellers’ status when published in 2020. Jim lives in Seattle, WA.
