An exhibit of portfolios from Lamar University's interior design program will be on display at the Dishman Art Museum until July 11. The eye-catching works include three senior projects for graduating family and consumer science majors, the department which houses the interior design program. Other designs depict a sampling from three different interior design studio classes: hospitality, residential and commercial. A reception for the artists is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 26. Assistant professor Richard Gachot, interior design program director, will lead a gallery talk during the reception. Admission to the exhibit and reception is free.
