Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF)
The Office of Undergraduate Research is pleased to announce the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship. The program is aimed to encouraging talented students to perform high-impact research (defined broadly as activities generating or synthesizing of new products that lead to improvement of society and humanity) with faculty mentors at Lamar University. All disciplines (STEM and HASBSEB) of research, as well as scholarly and creative activities will be supported. In FY2026, up to 15 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships will be awarded.
