SSC Administrative Office

The Administrative Office of the Setzer Student Center oversees the daily customer service and business operations of the SSC. Student assistants in the Administrative Office report to the Senior Administrative Assistant and serve as the main receptionists for the SSC.

Front Desk Student Assistant

  • Office support: greet visitors, answer phones, file papers, run errands, record and deliver messages; make copies and fax documents; collect and distribute mail and other documents to various departments; other clerical duties as assigned by SSC professional staff

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use OrgSync
  • Polished, professional demeanor and attitude
  • Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

  • Must have completed at least 30 semester credit hours
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Must be knowledgeable about the LU campus, university services, and building/department locations
  • Must be available to work 2- to 4-hour blocks during regular office hours: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday – Friday
