The College Panhellenic Council (CPC) is the coordinating body of the National Panhellenic Conference sorority chapters represented at Lamar University. CPC provides support and services to sororities as well as representing sorority life to the University and the surrounding community.

Primary Recruitment: September 7 - 10

Recruitment Requirements: To be eligible to participate in CPC Primary Recruitment, you must:

  • be a registered full-time (12 hours or more) student at Lamar University
  • be in good standing with Lamar University
  • have an overall GPA of a 2.5 from high school or previous college semesters
  • complete the online application

Letters of Recommendation: Recommendation letters are not required in order to participate in recruitment, but they can be helpful in the recruitment process. You can obtain letters of recommendation by registering with your city's Alumnae Panhellenic Association, or you may personally ask sorority alumnae you know to write a letter of introduction on your behalf.
