LU Financial Services hosts 12 days of Christmas

The LU Office of Financial Services is getting into the holiday spirit with a “Final 12 Days Before Winter Break” campaign. For 12 days leading up to Dec. 20, the department will participate in daily holiday themed activities.  

“We’re just like a family here in this department and we wanted to do something that would bring us all together for fun and festivities,” said Christine Barnes, Academic Partnership accountant. “While this is an interdepartmental campaign, we still want the entire campus to join us in celebrating the holidays so feel free to come out to our events each day.”

The team officially kicked off the campaign on Dec.2 with Christmas carolers in the center of the Plummer building where they also passed out event punch cards. Staff that participate in 10 or more holiday themed activities will qualify for a drawing on Dec. 21 for a holiday swag basket.

“This was really a way to bring us all together to spread a little holiday cheer,” Barnes said. “This may be the start of a new tradition for the department and we are excited about it.”

Holiday themed activities:
12/8 Ornament exchange in the conference from 9:30 am-10:30 am.
12/9 Join us for hot cocoa in the conference room 9:30 am-10:30 am.
12/10 Enjoy pizza in the conference room 12:00 pm-2:00 pm.
12/13 Join us for wassail in the conference room 9:30 am-10:30 am.
12/14 Hang your stuff stocking with goodies and a positivity cheer note in the conference room 2:00 pm- 3:00 pm
and pick up a different stocking at the Christmas luncheon.
12/15 Join us in the conference room for a Christmas feast.
12/16 Regift Exchange in the conference room 10:30 am-11:30 am.
12/20 Decorate a Cookie in the conference from 10:00 am- 11:00 am.
