“Probation officers must have the latest knowledge while simultaneously performing a multitude of other sophisticated tasks,” said Robert Worley, director of criminal justice at Lamar University. “This unique program provides probation officers with an incredible array of administrative and management tools, while also introducing them to the latest criminological theories as well as court decisions.”

One of the distinguishing factors about LU’s online criminal justice program is its M.B.A. in criminal justice degree, a unique curriculum of business and criminal justice courses all available online.

“It’s awesome that our criminal justice faculty members are able to collaborate with the College of Business to produce such a high-quality graduate degree,” said Worley. “It is clearly making an important impact in people’s lives.”
