The Lamar University Mary Morgan Moore Department of Music is proud to present the second annual Collage concert to benefit Music students. The event will take place on February 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the University Theatre located on the university campus.

“The department is excited to present our second annual Collage concert featuring more than 100 of our students performing everything from opera to jazz. There will be a little something for everyone! Designed as an effort to raise funds for the benefit of our students, we are thrilled to have every performance of the evening sponsored by a local business or private donor,” said Brian Shook, department chair. “These funds will be used to continually improve our resources, as well as provide scholarship assistance for students.”  

The event will feature the Department of Music’s finest large ensembles, small chamber groups and a variety of student and faculty performers. Both students and faculty will be utilized in a quick-paced and seamless concert that will highlight the variety of talent Lamar University has to offer. All proceeds from this event will benefit LU Music students directly in the form of scholarships and other program enhancements that will positively impact the learning environment of the students.
