Places You Want to Go

by William Guest

Guest revels in the excitement of travel to, and experiences of being in, four wonderful places in the world: the Antarctic, the Arctic, Peru including the Amazon Basin and Cusco, and the Yeats Poetry Festival in Sligo, Ireland. The photographs are excellent, and the accounts are informative and thought-provoking. Writing in the midst of his journeys, Guest's observations and musings are fresh and rich, and his use of language is artistic. Go there with him, even if vicariously.
