Dr. Bellard 11.26.2019   Dr. Norman Bellard, the president's community relations special assistant, gave a keynote that was the highlight of the 2019 induction ceremony for Chapter 95 of Phi Kappa Phi at Lamar University.

Brenda Nichols05.24.18   Lamar University Associate Provost Brenda Nichols recently received Phi Kappa Phi's Distinguished Service award for her vigilant and compassionate advocacy on behalf of the LU community impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Read more


2018 Induction Ceremony10.29.2018   The 2018 Phi Kappa Phi induction ceremony included the presentation of the Meritorious Service Award to Chuck Mason, one of LU's treasured alumni, by Dr. James Marquart and Dr. Teresa Simpson.

Ismatara Reena05.17.2018   Ismatara Reena, biology adjunct and educational leadership doctoral student, has been awarded Phi Kappa Phi's Love of Learning award. She plans to apply the funding to upcoming travel, during which she will present her dissertation at the Hawaii International Conference on Education. Read more
