Education

Caden Moran graduated from Lamar University in December 2022, earning his B.S. in Communication with an emphasis in film studies. Caden has previously worked for the university as a Writing Consultant for the Writing Center, and prior to this position he was the Creative & Media Manager for local AVL company Sweet Southern Sound. Caden is married to his wife Brittani, who he met while working for the Writing Center. In his free time, Caden enjoys watching films, writing, playing games, and watching sports (preferably baseball). Go 'Stros! 

Originally from Round Rock, Caden came to Lamar University initially to study graphic design before eventually switching and finding his place in the Department of Communication & Media studying film. During his time as an undergrad, Caden wrote and directed a number of short film projects including A Deal in the Dark, The Voice, and Addicted. He has also served as cinematographer for his peers projects, most recently Feel Something. 

Becoming Marketing Coordinator for the College of Fine Arts & Communication in October 2022, Caden uses the knowledge gained from LU and applies it to his current work through communication, media writing, social media, interviewing, promotion of events, brand management, and more. Caden is also the manager of Sights and Sounds, the monthly newsletter for the college which features stories and event updates from each academic department.
