Feminine Divine is a graphic design thesis project presented as a series of eight posters, each styled in the format of a tarot card. Digitally rendered in a graphic style inspired by Gothic architecture, each piece represents a card from the Major Arcana, reimagined through figures from Greek mythology. The mythological women featured are portrayed through the faces of modern women from the artist’s life, allowing each subject to be viewed through the feminine gaze rather than the traditionally patriarchal lens. This approach not only personalizes the imagery but also reclaims these figures from narratives that have historically minimized their power and presence. By drawing symbolic connections between tarot and mythology, the project critiques the ways patriarchal storytelling has distorted or diminished feminine identities. Feminine Divine seeks to restore agency to these characters, sparking conversation around gender, mythology, and the interpretive power of cartomancy.
