Annual Mandatory Inventory Verification Training

It is time again for the Annual Inventory Verification!

To prepare everyone for this inventory season, the Property Management Department has organized a training video to supply a surface-level refresher of the inventory verification process and review the recent changes. The 7-minute training video will be part of a Training Nest curriculum that each department's Property Custodian will have assigned to them via email from TrainingNest@lamar.edu.

This Training Nest curriculum includes:
·       the Inventory training video
·       A short quiz
·       A link to the department information form

The inventory training curriculum is due before MAY 10th.

Once the inventory curriculum is complete, Property Management will send your department its inventory packet within 48 hours. Once a department receives the inventory packet, its inventory verification can begin.

The inventory verification documents are due JUNE 15th.

Departments that do not meet the deadline will be subject to increased audit risk. A notification may be sent to upper administration as the result of non-compliance.

If you have any other questions or concerns, contact Chad Morris Jr. at Cmorris13@lamar.edu or call extension 1886.

Tom Maes Building - Construction Begins January 6, 2022

Construction is scheduled to begin on January 6, 2022, for the conversion of former classrooms 101 and 103 to new office space in the Tom Maes Building. Construction will occur during normal business hours and is not expected to disrupt any building operations. All public corridors and building entrances will remain open.
